Our Story

The story of BridgTechBridge begins not with a business plan, but in a small middle school computer lab where my fascination with technology first took root. But even before that, my mother gave me a typewriter, a heavy little machine that became my favorite toy. I would sit for hours writing letters and notes, fascinated by the rhythm of the keys and the magic of seeing my thoughts appear on paper.

When our family finally brought home a desktop computer with internet access, my curiosity exploded. I searched for vacation destinations, read anything I could find online, and later spent time connecting with friends on social media. Those early digital adventures taught me something simple but powerful: technology could open doors, like when I discovered online forums that connected me with fellow young writers, sparking creativity and friendships I had never imagined.

Years later, in 2010, I found myself in a senior living community, working as a Front Desk Concierge. It wasn’t a tech job—at least not on paper—but technology found its way back to me anyway. I was soon promoted to Activities Assistant, and that’s where everything clicked. I developed my first computer training curriculum and began teaching older adults how to use technology to reach their families. Watching them smile as they connected on Facebook or sent their first email reminded me of that same spark I felt as a child.

My journey continued when I became the Media & Marketing Director for a global logistics association. Suddenly, I was helping adult learners earn certifications entirely online guiding them through video calls, offering patient tech support, and showing them how technology could make professional growth more accessible.

Every chapter of my life reinforced a singular truth: people are eager to learn when guided by someone who can demystify technology and make it accessible. Someone who can make technology feel less intimidating and more empowering.
That understanding became the heart of BRIGHTECHBRIDGE.
